American Legion Post 439 – Saginaw, Michigan

Exciting Things Are Happening at Post 439!

Hello, Legion Family and Friends!

I want to take a moment to share just how proud I am of everything happening here at American Legion Post 439. If you've stopped by recently, you've probably noticed something exciting — our Post is busier than ever! Attendance has been booming, we're seeing familiar faces more often, and we're welcoming new faces every week. It's great to see our Legion filled with laughter, friendship, and a true sense of community.

One of the things I'm most excited about is the incredible variety of activities and entertainment we have going on. From our Friday night live music and karaoke to Sunday Funday dinners, Queen of Hearts drawings, Euchre, burger nights, and other special events, there's always something happening at Post 439. We're working hard to make our Legion a place where everyone feels welcome, has a great time, and looks forward to coming back.

Our Newly Renovated Hall – A Place for Our Community to Gather

Another accomplishment we're especially proud of is the renovation of our Large Hall. This improvement has given us a beautiful, updated space that we can share with our veterans, members, families, and the surrounding community.

Whether it's a celebration of life, birthday party, family gathering, meeting, fundraiser, or other special occasion, our hall offers a welcoming place for people to come together and make memories. We're excited about the opportunities this creates, not only for our Post but for the entire Saginaw community.

More Than Just a Place to Gather

While we're thrilled about the growing attendance and all the fun activities, I also want to remind everyone why the American Legion exists in the first place.

At the heart of everything we do is our commitment to supporting veterans, honoring those who have served, and giving back to our community.

Our Post is more than a building or a place to enjoy a cold drink. It's a place where veterans can connect with one another, friendships are built, families come together, and our community can show its appreciation for those who have served our country.

Every event we host, every volunteer who lends a hand, and every person who walks through our doors helps keep that mission alive.

Thank You to Our Volunteers and Members

None of this would be possible without the dedication of our Legionnaires, Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion, bartenders, volunteers, and everyone who gives their time to make Post 439 a success.

From preparing Sunday dinners and organizing entertainment to maintaining our building, planning events, and helping behind the scenes, your hard work does not go unnoticed. I sincerely appreciate everything you do.

And to our members and guests who continue to support our Post by attending events, bringing friends, and spreading the word — thank you! You're helping make Post 439 a place people are proud to be part of.

Looking Ahead – Let's Keep the Momentum Going!

As we look toward the future, my goal is to continue building on the positive momentum we've created. We want to keep bringing exciting entertainment and activities to the Post, make the most of our renovated facilities, attract new members, and find even more ways to serve our veterans and community.

I encourage everyone to get involved. Attend a meeting, volunteer for an event, invite a friend, or simply stop in and enjoy the company. Your ideas, participation, and support are what make our Post stronger.

If you haven't visited us in a while, I invite you to come see what's happening. Our doors are open daily from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and there's always a friendly face waiting to welcome you.

The future of American Legion Post 439 is bright, and I'm excited about what we can accomplish together!

Thank you for your continued support, and most importantly, thank you to all our veterans for your service and sacrifice.
